About The BIPOC MFT Student Collective
Monthly Subscription Tiers Vary. Each tier has full access to The Collective. Choose the tier that fits with your financial capabilities.
The BIPOC MFT Student Collective is a culturally affirming, community-centered space where BIPOC Marriage and Family Therapy students can find connection, encouragement, and support throughout their academic journey. This collective exists to bring together students who want to learn, grow, and thrive in a space created for them, by someone who understands the complexities of the path.
Inside the Collective, members have access to:
Real Life Sessions – Our signature sessions where you get to learn from BIPOC supervisors, professors, researchers, practice owners, and leaders in the field. Honest conversations. Practical wisdom. Representation that matters.
Guidance Through Your Program – Get support navigating coursework, practicum, clinical skills development, classroom dynamics, working with supervisors, and integrating cultural identity with your therapist voice.
Community of BIPOC MFT Students – Connect with peers who understand the unique experience of being a BIPOC therapist-in-training—especially meaningful for students who are “the only one” or “one of the few” in their cohort.
Professional Growth Exposure – Learn about the wide range of career paths BIPOC clinicians pursue, from private practice to research to organizations to creative and community-based work.
A Community That Shows Up – This is an active, engaged space. We grow through connection, conversation, and participation—not silence. We encourage members to share, ask questions, connect and engage with other members in the collective, and provide and receive encouragement and support.
Feedback Rooms – Have a presentation you want to practice presenting? Schedule a feedback room and invite people to give you supportive feedback to help you feel more confident and ready to present.
And more!
This is more than a membership. It’s a collective movement toward connection, representation, and confidence for the next generation of BIPOC systemic therapists.
